Publish to a Website From a Job

Use a Website publish destination when a job should send approved content to a connected website.

This is useful for blog posts, service updates, announcements, and other content that should be reviewed before it goes live.

Before you start

Make sure:

  1. The website is connected in the Website dashboard.
  2. Connected Data is synced.
  3. A publish action is available.
  4. The job has a review step before publishing.

How publishing works

The job passes the article forward in a structured way. Earlier steps may research, draft, edit, and prepare SEO details. The final publish step sends only the reviewed article to the selected website.

TROPIKAL also protects against accidental duplicate publishing by giving the publish action a stable run identity.

Add the output

  1. Open or create the job.
  2. Add the steps that produce the content.
  3. Add a Review step before publishing.
  4. Open the Output area.
  5. Choose Website publish destination.
  6. Select the connected website.
  7. Save the job.

If only one ready website publish destination exists, TROPIKAL may select it for you. If more than one is ready, choose the correct website before saving.

Run and approve

  1. Start the job run.
  2. Review the article when the review step asks for approval.
  3. Approve only after the content is accurate and safe to publish.
  4. Let the job continue to the Website publish destination.
  5. Check the Run result to confirm whether publishing succeeded.

When the destination is not available

Problem What it means What to do
No website appears No connected website has a ready publish action. Validate and sync the website in the Website dashboard.
Publish action missing The website is connected, but publishing is not exposed. Sync Connected Data again or contact TROPIKAL support.
Review required The job is trying to publish before approval. Add or complete the review step.
Publish failed The website rejected the action or the content did not meet its requirements. Open the Run result, check the message, and fix the article or destination.
Duplicate publish prevented The same approved publish action already ran. Check the website before running again.

Good first test

Start with an unpublished draft or a low-risk test article. Confirm the article appears in the expected place before using the job for live content.
