Connect Troubleshooting
Use this guide when a connected website does not show data or an approved action does not run.
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| No Connected Data appears | Open the local Connect admin screen and confirm at least one object has Read enabled. |
| Website chat cannot list records | Confirm the object has Read enabled and the Website dashboard was synced after the grant changed. |
| Website chat cannot create or update | Confirm Write is enabled and the required fields are present. |
| Delete is unavailable | Confirm Delete is enabled for that object. Write access does not include Delete. |
| The action asks for confirmation | This is expected for risky writes or deletes. Confirm only when the target object and change are correct. |
| Sync is stale | Click the Website dashboard sync action again after changing grants locally. |
| A safe validation error appears | Review the missing or rejected fields and retry with approved fields only. |
If the dashboard shows a generic unavailable message, retry once and contact support with the website name, approximate time, and action you attempted. Do not include passwords, browser cookies, access tokens, or private credentials in support messages.
