Website Components
A Website Component is an interactive feature installed on one connected Website. It owns the visitor UI, setup, sessions, data, and lifecycle for that experience. TROPIKAL currently provides Website Chat, Calendar Booking, and News Feed.
Components and Jobs have different homes:

The Component page is the only setup and management surface. There is no backing Component Job to find, edit, or run.
How Components use Jobs
A Component can start a Job when the owner explicitly allows it. For example, Website Chat can collect an error report from a visitor and start an approved error-analysis Job. The Component keeps responsibility for the conversation and visitor experience. The Job receives the structured input, performs the analysis in the background, and records its own run and result.
Pausing the Component stops the visitor experience without pausing unrelated Jobs. Pausing or removing a Job makes that work unavailable to the Component without changing the Component’s own sessions or setup.
Manage a Component
- Open Websites.
- Select the Website you want to change.
- Choose Website Chat, Calendar Booking, or News Feed from the component gallery.
- Complete setup and save.
- Test the live Website.
Pausing a Component stops that Website feature without changing customer Jobs. Removing it disconnects the feature from that Website.
